A little bit about me

As a drag queen and hairdressing instructor myself, it goes without saying that I love hair. My obsession with wigs began when I was 16. My passion for drag started around the same time, so why not combine the two? I have now been styling high-quality wigs for drag and theatre artists in and around Belgium for several years.

What started as a bit of fun...

What started as a bit of fun quickly became a passion, but also a business. I grew very quickly as an artist, and so did my business. I saw opportunities to organise queer drag events in and around Ghent with Don't Drag Me (@dontdragme_ on Instagram) and to take my drag career as a performer to the next level (@thecaramelle on Instagram). It was therefore inevitable that I would go on to slay my wig business.

Projects and achievements

I've already had a few great projects under my belt. In January 2025, I worked on the theatre production of Kinky Boots Belgium at Arenberg in Antwerp. There, I did the hair and make-up for the characters, complete with the appropriate wig and sass, of course.

In the summer of 2025, I had the chance to work both on and off screen in a production of Camping Sunset; Queen Of The Flies. You heard right. I was once again in charge of the wigs and make-up, but I also had a role in the play. We performed all summer for TAZ (Theater Aan Zee) in Ostend, as well as a few shows in December at the Toneelhuis in Antwerp.

I also won an award in 2025. I won the Gentrepreneur award for best student entrepreneur of 2025 with my company. What a cherry on the cake to look forward to a brilliant future!

Speaking of the future, I hope to continue making customized wigs for many years to come. May wonderful projects and great wig-making adventures come my way, along with years of wonderful experiences and boundless passion!
